2025–2026 Student Parking Information
🚘 Please Note:
Parking permits will not be enforced until October 13, 2025, to allow students plenty of time to register their vehicles and attend a required Start Smart class.
Students can register now for a 25–26 parking permit by scanning the QR code below:

Important: You must have already completed a Start Smart class in order to register for a parking permit.
Permit Pickup Information
Students will be able to pick up their parking permits when they return to school in August.
Permits will be available in the Front Office from Ms. Platt.
Start Smart Classes
Start Smart classes will begin in August 2025.

Parking Rules and Regulations
- Students may NOT park on campus prior to receiving a valid permit.
- Unreserved spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. Possession of a permit does not guarantee a parking space.
- The staff lot is off-limits to students from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Parking stickers must be clearly displayed in the lower left corner of the inside front windshield. Taping is not allowed.
- Permits may not be transferred to another student or vehicle.
- The parking lot speed limit is 5 mph — drive slowly and carefully.
- If more than one family member will drive the same car, each student must submit an application, but will share one sticker.
Siblings driving different cars must each have a separate application and sticker. - Driving a different car? You must sign in before 2nd period each day using the QR code below or posted on the window left of the Attendance Office.
Only 3 alternate vehicle sign-ins are allowed per quarter. - If you need more than 3 alternate vehicle sign-ins or plan to drive multiple cars, complete an application for each vehicle and see Ms. Platt with $5 per additional sticker.
- Only students with a permit may sign in an alternate vehicle.
- RBHS is not responsible for damage or theft that may occur on campus.
- Only students with a Senior Parking Sticker may park in the senior lot. If unsure where this area is, ask Ms. Platt.
- Students may not loiter in the student lot before, during, or after school or at lunch.
- Vehicles may not be used as lockers. Students may not access vehicles during the school day.
- All vehicles are subject to search by administration and law enforcement.
- Citations are issued by the City of San Diego and may result from violation of any parking rule.
- There is no school-site appeal process for citations. Please follow instructions on the citation for the city’s process.
